H&M High-waisted Tiered Skirt $39.95 CAD
I'm not a big fan of tiered things, but this, I like. The layers are subtle and not too ruffly, very simple and chic. It's too bad they didn't have my size.

This skirt is available in 3 colours: plum brown (the above photo is more colour accurate), deep cornflower blue, and black.

H&M Filigree Necklace $14.95 CAD
I love this as a statement necklace as it has that vintage look. It would look really great with a strapless dress or a classic LBD.

H&M Cutout Peep Toe Shoes $39.95 CAD
As soon as I saw these shoes, I immediately thought of this pair of Miss Sixty shoes that I wanted to buy from Rowan Sky in the summer time. The concept is very similar, but the execution is slightly different. I still prefer the single gold strap down the centre of the foot of the Stacy shoes, which is why I didn't end up buying the pair from H&M. However, they are still pretty shoes at a good price; and with the shorter heel, they're quite comfortable.

H&M Divided Brocade skirt, H&M top, T3 Refresh Volumizing Dry Shampoo, Moroccanoil, Skoah Face Skotion 30
A good dry shampoo can be a girl's best friend. I've tried Oscar Blandi's Pronto Dry Shampoo but to no avail. It does smell good with that fresh lemon-verbena scent and it did a decent job, but the small sized bottle only allowed for 2 brief uses before it died on me. Since then, I've had a few Blo Outs done at Blo where they use T3 Refresh Volumizing Dry Shampoo. It not only helps to absorb excess oils and odours with a fresh scent, but it provides added volume, which I love.
As per her post on partlySunny, the Moroccanoil hair treatment came highly recommended by industry insider Sunny Shum. I've heard nothing but great things about it since then, so I decided it was time that I picked up a bottle for myself. Even though I washed my hair this morning, I'm tempted to wash it again tonight just so I can try this hair treatment.
I have yet to post reviews on the Skoah products I bought last week, but so far so good! Therefore, I thought I would try one of their daily moisturizers since I ran out mine this morning. I like what I've read about the Face Skotion - "a light, hydrating lotion with a matte finish that won't cause breakouts and has UVA and UVB protection". So here's to hoping that it works well on my combination skin.

so proud of you for not purchasing those 2 pairs of shoes today! HAHAHA
can't wait to read about all your updates on the beauty products you picked up today :)
oh your boots are cute! I love them.. .and you look so similar to a friend of mine!
*loves*
Cute tee! I've been looking for a cool concert or graphic tee like that. I agree with you on the tiered skirt as well, it just looks a little too immature to have a ruffly tiered skirt.
I love that look on you. I bought a lot of colored leggings a couple years ago but I never really made a successful look out of them so I stopped wearing them.
Are heels from H&M comfortable?
Morroccan Oil is the best - I have very damaged hair and it's in the best condition it's ever been in. When summer comes, invest in the sun spray that they have. Not only does it impart a gold sheen, but it protects your colour against UV rays.
where did you get your moroccan oil? i got mine, as a sample from the hair and beauty show.
i looked at that tiered skirt too, but it's hard to buy work clothes when you don't have a job. ugh.
great buys! I love the layered necklaces!
I'm going to shop vicariously through you from now until Christmas because I've put myself on a bit of a shopping ban to save money for people's presents! Granted, I bought elbow-length gloves yesterday, BUT I've been wanting a pair for ages now and they were only $14.
Love your outfit!
Love your outfit, your picks at H&M, and I'm very interested in the Morroccan oil now. Please let me know how it works! I can't wait to see that brocade skirt in an outfit post... very cute! Like Lisa said, I think I'm going to have to shop vicariously through you as well :)
